This month's updates for ElementalTV App users, 1Audience buyers, and integration partners. October brings more control over inventory and ad delivery, new creative workflows, and clearer reports.
Supply & demand
- Choose how TAG ad pods are returned — Select Ad Buffet or Sequenced Ad Pod for each TAG supply source. Multi-ad sequenced responses number ads in response order.
- Control transaction IDs — Choose pass-through, generate if absent, always generate, or do not send. Generated IDs can identify the originator as Publisher or Non-publisher; incoming IDs keep their original type. Forwarding to demand still follows each demand source's Send TID setting.
- Target DOOH inventory — Target by ID, name, domain, keywords, and venue, and configure overrides for the corresponding fields. Venue selection supports OpenOOH 1.0 and 1.1. The Inventory ID filter works across app, site, and DOOH traffic.
- Manage multiplied delivery — Impression caps, budgets, and planning retain fractional multiplied impressions. Physical fill-rate metrics in the ElementalTV App distinguish ad plays from multiplied impressions. Frequency caps continue to count physical plays per identifier.
- New DOOH integration guide — A dedicated reference covers setup, OpenRTB and VAST tag field mapping, and delivery measurement for publishers, screen networks, and demand integrators. Explore the guide →
Creatives & Sales Agent
- Prepare creatives before a media buy — Sync creatives into the Sales Agent library, receive a result for each creative, and reuse library creatives in media buys. Product policies can require provenance disclosures and accepted verification.
- Declare inventory collections — Describe channels, series, and event series, including distribution on your own properties or third-party hosts. Eligible, configured collections appear in the publisher's
adagents.jsondeclaration. - Use AdVision sensitive-category controls — Accounts with AdVision access can inspect 18 detected sensitive categories, filter the Creative Library, and use categories in Allow/Block Metadata Profiles at Global, Supply Source, or Ad Unit scope.
- Upload Non-linear Ads in batches — Upload image or video files with shared format, position, and playback settings in the ElementalTV App and 1Audience. Each file creates one creative, and an invalid file does not stop the remaining uploads. Images and videos use separate batches.
Reporting
- More consistent request-based rates — Rate calculations use compatible request counts. Default user reports exclude listen-only supply; reports that explicitly select a supply source can include it.
- Clearer exports and country labels — Export headers match the report grid, fractional metrics are handled consistently, and country labels use three-letter codes. Supply PPMR accounts for the supply fee; Skip Rate and Close Rate use VAST Starts as their base.
- Keep scheduled report settings — Running a scheduled report preserves its saved period and granularity.
Fixes
- Campaign and creative editing — Campaign weights stay valid after a creative is deleted, and deleting a creative preserves media used by another creative. Publisher approval copies the campaign budget into its Programmatic Direct deal.
- Targeting and request handling — Large targeting lists retain their empty-value setting, and substring exclusions reject lists containing a blocked value. Multi-impression requests apply filters to each impression.
- Creative Library and deal updates — Creative Library navigation preserves the intended date range. Individual and bulk deal updates follow the same status rules.
For integrators
- Reports API response changes — Accept responses without
total. Summary objects no longer includetime; data rows keep their timestamps. Usestart, end, andtimeZonefrom/reports/_datafor the requested interval. Choose supported time zones from/api/v2/timezones. - Export imports and country codes — Review imports that identify columns by header name. Country output uses three-letter codes; API country cells retain the two-letter
idand provide the three-letter value inexternalId. Saved country filters continue to use two-letter IDs. - Hosted MCP access through roles — Administrators control hosted MCP access through user roles. Connections expose only the contexts the user is permitted to access. If hosted access is missing, ask your administrator to check your role. Local CLI access rules are unchanged.
